Shepherds Huts

Hut guests must adhere to the following:

 

  • On entering your hut, thoroughly wash hands with soap & water.  Continue to do wash hands regularly throughout your stay

  • Limit your contact with others, keeping a distance of 2 metres

 

Help to protect the wider community and also follow these guidelines whilst exploring Northumberland.

 

Please bring your own hand sanitising gel to use when out & about in the county.

 

In addition to our usual high standards of cleaning we have added an additional layer of care during changeover.  After the usual clean, we now sanitise all most touched areas, including all handles, keys, light switches, flat surfaces etc.  We ask guests to wash all used kitchen items before checking-out, however during changeover all crockery, cutlery & glassware will be washed a 2nd time in hot soapy water.

 

Disinfectant spray and hand soap will be available in the huts.

 

Decorative throws & cushions will be removed from your hut, unless they have been laundered or quarantined.

 

The vast majority of our local foody establishments will be open for in-house dining from 04/07/2020 and many businesses offer an excellent take-away service.  We will email you a list of these before your stay, however do contact us if you’d like this sooner.

Bed & Breakfast

B&B guests must adhere to the following:

  • On entering the farmhouse immediately use the hand sanitiser gel in the hall to clean hands 

  • On entering your room, thoroughly wash hands with soap & water.  Continue to do wash hands regularly throughout your stay

  • Limit your contact with others, keeping a distance of 2 metres

We, your B&B hosts will:

  • Wear a face mask during check-in, breakfast service & when face-to-face indoors

  • Maintain a safe distance from you where possible

  • Check in time will be kept to less than 10 minutes

Guests travelling separately will be given a 45 minute private dining breakfast sitting.  All most touched surfaces in the dining room will be sanitised between sittings.

All communal areas and most touched surfaces in the farmhouse will be sanitised frequently (light switches, handles, banisters etc). 

During changeovers, in addition to our usual high standards of cleaning we have added an additional layer of care, which is to thoroughly sanitise all most touched areas, including all handles, keys, remote controls, light switches, flat surfaces etc.

We will not enter your B&B room for daily cleaning unless you have asked us to do so.
